We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Director of Marketing and Engagement and Director of Communications, while also delivering high-quality administrative assistance to the wider team. This varied and impactful role will see you coordinating complex diaries, preparing high-quality meeting packs, taking minutes, managing expenses, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly. You’ll also be instrumental in maintaining efficient office systems, streamlining procedures, and building strong working relationships across departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
The role will be based in the office for a minimum of two days per week, with flexibility to support the diaries and commitments of both Directors, including accompanying them on site visits where required.
We need someone who is organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional support to a team that makes a positive impact to the region.

What you will be doing

Deliver proactive, timely, responsive and high-quality PA support

Build and maintain positive relations and open communication within the team

Engage with the WMCA Business Support Team and provide a high standard of customer service to stakeholders and staff

Provide and ensure that support and assistance is available for projects and services being implemented by the WMCA

Manage, co-ordinate and maintain calendars including meetings, appointments and records in accordance with pre-set priorities, deadlines and requests

Plan and co-ordinate associated travel and accommodation arrangements

Receive, sort and prioritise all incoming communications, mail and emails
-
Manage and plan cover arrangements ensuring that sickness/holiday absences are adequately resourced

Ensure that all records and filing systems are maintained and kept up to date

Location.
The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.

We advertise salary ranges, with new appointments typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate.
