Job Introduction

Youth mentors:

Dudley Council is looking for two passionate, grounded, and inspiring Youth Mentors who can make a real difference in the lives of young people across the borough. The role centres on building trusting relationships, offering guidance through life’s challenges, and helping young people develop confidence, resilience and positive aspirations for their future.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete a level 3 youth work apprenticeship. You will be supporting young people through case holding, one‑to‑one sessions, group activities, and community engagement, working alongside schools, families, and local services to create safe and empowering environments and achieve positive change.

If you’re someone who listens deeply, communicates with warmth and clarity, and genuinely believes in the potential of every young person, this is a chance to turn that passion into meaningful impact.
