Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Aircon Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and construction practices. The ideal applicant will demonstrate leadership qualities and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure efficient and

Responsibilities

Install air conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings according to technical specifications and schematics
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions accurately
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements using appropriate tools and techniques
Lead small teams during installation projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained
Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and provide expert advice on system selection and placement
Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of refrigerants and electrical components

Requirements

Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, or related mechanical roles
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and equipment repair techniques
Familiarity with construction practices relevant to HVAC installations
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise or guide team members effectively
Basic understanding of electrical wiring and system troubleshooting
Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and interpret technical instructions
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting work performed
Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC or mechanical engineering are preferred but not mandatory
Valid UK driving licence is advantageous for site travel purposes
