We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Engagement Lead to join team at HMP YOI Swinfen Hall a Category C men's prison and Young Offenders Institution, located in the village of Swinfen in Staffordshire, England.

We are looking for someone to support and enhance our health promotion with young adults!

Hours
The site currently offers Monday - Friday: core office hours

Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary from £29,264 to £33,510 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As our new Patient Engagement Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction through effective service user engagement and peer led forums, the planning and delivery of projects/programmes in line with patients’ needs and priorities, involving patients (where possible) in project and training delivery.
You’ll act as a point of contact and respond to patient engagement enquires from staff, external partners and patients.
Additionally, within this role, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the health champion peer support model, including the delivery of Health Champion training across the site.
