A new and exciting opportunity working with Get Wet Swim School
We’re looking for a flexible Swimming Teacher to offer a range of classes from beginner through to advanced ability
Your primary role will be to plan, deliver and review the highest quality, themed, fun and safe Swim England lessons for 3+ years with excellent standards of customer service giving every child opportunity to learn to swim.
As part of your role, you will plan and deliver swimming lessons in and out of the water, use technology to support and engage customers as well as working as part of a team to deliver excellent swimming lessons. This will include customer engagement, attending training and team meetings to share best practice and learn from each other.
This role is for weekday evening and weekend hours.
We have two positions available. Permanent hours are available and Cover staff positions available.
You’ll be developing creative and innovative classes following the ASA awards scheme. Assess swimmers on an ongoing basis using an online tracking system and follow our awards process and celebrations when swimmers progress through their swim!
ASA Level 1 swimming Teachers qualification or equivalent is a minimum requirement.
Qualifications required: Swimming Teaching ASA Level 1 qualification is essential
Swimming Teaching ASA Level 2 qualification is desirable
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent is desirable
You must be eligible to work in the UK
You must be able to speak English fluently
Knowledge of current safety requirements for management of swimming lessons

- Passion for swimming
