We are looking for a mid-level software engineer with strong technical skills who has a general understanding of software development principles. The daily tasks involve enhancing current functionality while also developing fresh features and integrating them with both internal services and external applications.
So, what will your day-to-day look like?
- Working closely with senior software engineers, analysts, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Developing new product features on the company platforms as per specification.
- Troubleshooting and resolving platform issues and bugs with precision and efficiency.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Contributing to specifications.
- Working and collaborating with product team members.
- Producing quality code with a low defect count.
Does this sound like you?
Knowledge
- Knowledge of a Software programming lifecycle (SDLC).
- Responsive UI design.
- Knowledge of source control like Git and Azure DevOps.
- Github and code repository controls.
- Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerization tools.
Skills
- C# - Desirable.
- Design Patterns.
- Tools and process to resolve complex issues.
- Microsoft SQL
- Strong SQL coding and structured/nonstructured data concepts.
The Application Timeline
- A first stage video call with the internal recruitment team (15 minutes)
- A technical test (1 hour)
- A face-to-face interview with the hiring manager (1 hour)
