Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, friendly and reliable freelance Pilates Instructor to join the studio! In this role, you will lead engaging classical + or contemporary Pilates classes designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being for a diverse range of clients. Your expertise will inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals while ensuring a safe, motivating, and enjoyable environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for movement and help individuals unlock their full potential through Pilates.

Looking for an instructor to take on 2x classes on a Saturday morning. 9.30-11.30am

(this can also be shared and alternated between instructors)

1x class every thursday evening at 6.30pm

1x per month 2x classes back to back every last thursday. 6.30pm-8.30pm

All classes are small and intimate classes of 45 mins, Limited to 8 people per class. at £20 per class so the opportunity to make an extra £200-£400 per month.

Duties

Lead group and private Pilates classes, tailoring exercises to suit various skill levels and individual needs
Demonstrate proper technique and form to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness of workouts
Provide clear instructions and modifications to accommodate participants’ physical abilities and limitations
Monitor participants during sessions, offering encouragement and corrective feedback as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment that promotes safety and comfort
Educate clients on anatomy, breathing techniques, and the benefits of Pilates to enhance their understanding and engagement
Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in Pilates instruction

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching fitness classes, with a focus on Pilates or similar modalities
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and movement principles relevant to Pilates exercises
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse clients
Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization is highly preferred
Prior experience in teaching or coaching sports or fitness classes is advantageous
Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while providing personalized guidance
Passion for promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles

Pay: £20.00 per hour
