Duties
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to access and clean ductwork and exhaust systems effectively
- Inspect ventilation systems for blockages, buildup, or damage, documenting findings accurately
- Remove dust, debris, grease, and other contaminants from ducts and extract units to improve air quality
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to ensure a secure work environment
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of duct components as needed for thorough cleaning or repairs
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including before-and-after photos and inspection reports
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices is highly desirable
- Prior construction or maintenance experience is a strong plus
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and document work accurately
