Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) - Based at our busy Chichester Hospital.

Master new skills

As a qualified registered veterinary nurse, you’ll be involved in first opinion and referral care, including medical and surgical cases, advanced diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation. This gives you the opportunity to grow and master your areas of special interest. We understand that our team is what makes Arun Veterinary Group great. Whether your interest is in clinical coaching, gaining a certificate, building leadership skills, or something else entirely, we’re committed to nurturing your talents.

About you

You’ll be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS), with a valid driving licence. You must have at least 2/3years experience, no new graduates this time sadly.

Most importantly, you’ll share and demonstrate our values. These are humility, respect, empathy, work ethic, honesty, communication, and teamwork.

Benefits

Your benefits will include funded CPD (Certificate funding available); standard pension benefit; 40% staff discount for own pets; enhanced parental leave (6 months paid at 90%); enhanced sickness benefit (2 weeks at 100%); generous holiday (7 weeks, including bank holidays) and occupational health resources, including mental health support.

Rota

4-day week, 10 hour working shifts (7.30am-6.30pm, 8.00am-7.00pm, 8.30am-7.30pm), totalling 40 hours. 1 hour lunch break.

Equal rota for daytime in-patient care and help with emergencies over weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked. No out-of-hours, except to act as “last resort” backup to dedicated emergency team on a rota. This is very rarely used.

This role is based in our busy Chichester hospital.

Salary

£29,000 to £33,000 pa depending on experience, 40 hours per week.
