Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Service

Location: Glenholme Healthcare, The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1GQ
Salary: £12.75 up to £12.95 per hour + Paid Training

Hours: Full-time position available – applicants must be flexible to work across a rota including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.

Sponsorship Not Available

Applicants must be comfortable working in an environment with a dog and cats.

Your Role as a Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of residents while promoting independence and person-centred support.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing reassurance, emotional support, and daily assistance to residents
Supporting with personal care where required
Administering medication in line with care plans
Responding promptly to residents' needs and supporting positive outcomes
Maintaining accurate records and completing daily reports
Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming
Encouraging independence, choice, and participation in daily activities
