Full job description

Foundation Sports is a multi-award-winning and OFSTED registered sports coaching company, renowned nationwide and prominently established in Dorset & Hampshire under the guidance of the national CEO.

Our holiday clubs, recognised by parents as Sports & Play Camps, play a crucial role in our business during the holidays, providing children with affordable access to sports coaching to enhance their activity levels. Our holiday clubs are exceptionally popular in Bournemouth & Pole, where we host over 200 children per day.

We are actively seeking Sports Coaches to implement our sports curriculum, covering a diverse range of sports such as Football, Gymnastics, Dodgeball, Cricket, Netball, Tennis, Basketball, Athletics, Volleyball, and Hockey. We emphasise that coaches will only be expected to instruct in sports in which they specialise, and we welcome a broad array of qualified coaches to join us this summer.

Encouragement, engagement, and enthusiasm are the cornerstones of our coaching philosophy for children participating in multiple sports.

We pride ourselves on being inclusive, welcoming children of all abilities to our sessions without any form of exclusion based on skill set.

Key requirements for prospective coaches include an enhanced DBS check, First Aid certification, and a National Governing Body coaching certificate (e.g., FA Level 1).

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year coaching experience
A minimum and maximum number of contracted hours each week
National Governing Body Level 1 certificate
Personal transportation
Ability to think on your feet, with examples demonstrated during the interview
Ability to engage and activate everyone in your sessions
First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children Certificate

Kindly note, during the holidays there is a different pay scale from the hourly rate advertised at a competitive rate.

Please note that if you are added to a Barred List from the DBS, it is unlawful to work, apply for work, or volunteer in Regulated Activity with children and/or adults. We prioritise safeguarding and welfare in our provision.
