We’re looking for a Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting and provide valuable insight to support business performance and decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into — you’ll own month-end processes, produce management accounts, and partner with operational teams to drive performance through financial analysis and reporting.

Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary: Up to £52,000 DoE

Location: Bournemouth

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:30 (37.5 hours)

As a Management Accountant, you will:

Lead the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring all reporting is delivered accurately and on time.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
Maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are supported and reviewed regularly.
Act as a key finance contact for the business unit, providing insight and supporting operational teams.
Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics aligned to business objectives.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Contribute to group reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Support audit requirements and ensure financial records remain accurate and compliant.
Identify risks and maintain compliance with financial controls, policies, and procedures.

ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified accountant.
Strong experience in management accounts and month-end processes.
Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing financial data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
