About Storyy Group
Storyy Group works across education and care to support children and young people whose lives, learning or stability have been disrupted. We run alternative provision, outreach services and children’s residential homes, all built around consistency, therapeutic relationships and high expectations.
We believe every child deserves adults who show up, stay calm and genuinely care. That’s what our homes are built on.
The Role
Being a Senior Residential Support Worker is about much more than supervising shifts.
You’ll be someone children trust, someone your colleagues look to for guidance, and someone who helps create a home where young people can feel safe enough to grow.
You’ll use therapeutic parenting approaches to support children aged 8–18 who have experienced trauma, abuse and disrupted attachments. Every day is different, but every day is centred around providing stability, building relationships and helping young people move towards brighter futures.
Alongside supporting children directly, you’ll mentor Residential Support Workers, contribute to care planning, work closely with external professionals and help maintain the high standards expected within a regulated children’s home.

Why this work matters
Children don’t need perfect adults. They need adults who keep turning up.
The young people who live in our homes have often experienced significant disruption before they arrive. Recovery takes time, consistency and people who genuinely believe in them.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll help provide exactly that. You’ll be part of a team creating homes where children feel safe enough to trust again, confident enough to grow and supported enough to build the future they deserve.
It isn’t always easy work, but it’s some of the most important work there is.
If you’d like to be part of the Storyy team, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a short covering letter to [email protected] and [email protected].
