Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Sales Administrator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our sales operations, ensuring seamless communication, efficient processing of sales data, and exceptional support for our sales team. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help drive our business forward, creating a positive experience for clients and colleagues alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills within a fast-paced, energetic environment that values initiative and teamwork.

Duties

Processing customer orders, invoices and delivery notes on Sage.
Dealing with customer queries, complaints and delivery shortages, helping to find suitable solutions.
Checking driver camera footage where required to investigate reported shortages.
Serving customers on the trade counter and ensuring it is kept clean, tidy and fully stocked.
Contacting existing customers who have not ordered recently and keeping track of their ordering frequency.
Making contact with new potential customers, with a minimum target of 5 new customer calls per day.
Assisting with creating and editing customer price guides and PDF documents.
Updating customer pricing on Sage and uploading new customer price books.
Assisting with chasing outstanding customer payments when required.
Filing and organising paperwork, including invoices and delivery notes.
Assisting with the general upkeep, cleanliness and presentation of the company premises.
Providing general support to the sales team and other departments when required.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with CRM software is essential
Knowledge of Sage accounting software or similar financial tools is a plus
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems and tools
Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude towards client interactions
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting
