WEEKEND/PART TIME JOB | £100 PER DAY | TYPICALLY 3–4 HOURS | SATURDAY & SUNDAY | COMPANY CAR PROVIDED

£100 per day for weekend work, with the vast majority of shifts lasting approximately 3–4 hours.

You will be contracted to be available between 9:00am and 6:00pm, but most weekend shifts will be completed within approximately 3–4 hours, typically 9:00am–1:00pm.

This means you will generally work only around 3–4 hours on a Saturday and 3–4 hours on a Sunday, while receiving £100 for each day worked.

Occasionally, depending on the venue and event requirements, a longer shift may be required, so candidates must be available between 9:00am and 6:00pm.

You must be based in Chelmsford.

Opul Life is a leading life-insurance brokerage dedicated to providing face-to-face advice and tailored protection solutions to families and homeowners.

We operate promotional kiosks across the South East, engaging directly with the public to raise awareness about the importance of life insurance and protection planning.

We are now seeking a confident, reliable and professional Kiosk Assistant to support our weekend kiosk operations team.

The Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing support role designed to assist the Kiosk Adviser throughout the event day.

You will travel from our Chelmsford base to event locations across the South East, help set up the promotional kiosk and play a key role in supporting customer engagement and administration.

A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel, including travelling to and from event locations.

Your responsibilities will centre around assisting the adviser, interacting with customers and ensuring a professional and welcoming kiosk presence.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to and from event locations across the South East and around the M25 using a company vehicle.
Assist with transporting and organising kiosk materials and promotional equipment.
Support with setting up and presenting the kiosk in a professional and inviting manner.
Welcome and engage members of the public visiting the kiosk.
Enter customer details accurately into an iPad system.
Lay out brochures, books and promotional materials neatly for clients.
Answer general client queries and direct specific advice questions to the Kiosk Adviser.
Provide ongoing support to the adviser throughout the day.
Maintain clear communication with management regarding travel times and logistics.
Help ensure the kiosk operates smoothly and professionally throughout each event.

Requirements

Must be based in Chelmsford.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Comfortable driving and travelling across the South East and around the M25.
Friendly, confident and professional manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using an iPad or basic digital systems.
Punctual, reliable and dependable.
Willing and available to work every Saturday and Sunday.

Sales experience is not essential, although it would be beneficial.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, being part of a team and supporting a professional adviser in a fast-paced promotional environment.

Travel & Company Vehicle

Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
Most shifts will begin and end at our Chelmsford base.
Travel to event locations will generally be within the South East and around the M25.
All necessary kiosk equipment and promotional materials will be provided.
