The Opportunity
As an Inspection Technical Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Senior Field Engineers and provide technical leadership across inspection and surveillance activities at Hinkley Point C. You'll play a key role in assuring quality arrangements during the Mechanical and Electrical construction phase, helping to uphold the highest standards of nuclear safety and project delivery while supporting EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.
You’ll join us on a salary starting from £82,186 per annum. This role is based full-time on site at #HinkleyPointC in #Somerset, where you'll work closely with quality, construction, project, and contractor teams to support the successful delivery of this nationally important project.
This is an opportunity to influence quality across a complex nuclear construction environment, develop inspection strategies, coach technical specialists, and help strengthen surveillance practices. You'll contribute directly to project performance while building capability within a high-performing team.

Leading inspection, surveillance, or quality teams within a nuclear regulated environment
-
Delivering large, complex Mechanical and Electrical construction projects, including Nuclear Island or Conventional Island scopes

Installation, construction, and erection of major Mechanical and Electrical equipment within nuclear power plants

Installation and commissioning of pressure equipment and pressure systems on site

Holding a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an HND supported by relevant training and experience

Working within high-security environments and applying nuclear industry standards and practices

Developing and managing technical programmes, inspection guides, and quality surveillance arrangements
What You’ll Be Doing

Leading a team of Senior Field Engineers and developing inspection topic expertise across Mechanical and Electrical construction activities

Providing technical guidance on quality surveillance matters to project, construction, and quality teams

Developing surveillance guides, risk assessments, and inspection arrangements to support effective assurance activities

Reviewing quality issues, supporting NCR resolution, and helping identify risks before they affect project delivery

Collaborating with stakeholders across the project to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and performance
