Your Role as a Engagement Tutor in Bridgwater
1:1 and Small Group Tuition – Deliver personalised tutoring sessions in literacy, numeracy, and wider learning, designed around each pupil’s needs.
Creative Interventions – Use flexible strategies to improve engagement, build confidence, and develop social and emotional skills.
Collaboration – Work alongside families, schools, and multi-agency professionals to support consistent learning pathways.
Monitoring Progress – Track student development, celebrate success, and adapt plans to secure lasting improvement.

Engagement Tutor Job Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – A recognised teaching qualification is essential.
Experience – Minimum of 3 years’ teaching or student support experience, ideally in SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision.
Passion – A genuine commitment to inclusive, child-centred education.
Communication Skills – Ability to engage and build positive relationships with students, families, and professionals.
