About the role
We are looking for a reliable and practical Casual Estates Worker to support our Estates team with the care and maintenance of Louma’s beautiful grounds. This hands-on outdoor role will help maintain lawns, hedges, woodland areas, fences, ponds and wider estate spaces to a high standard.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, takes pride in their work and can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the maintenance of lawns, hedges, woodland areas, fences, ponds and general estate spaces
- Carrying out basic groundskeeping and green maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Using estate equipment in line with training, risk assessments and standard operating procedures
- Helping to keep outdoor areas presentable, safe and welcoming for guests
- Working both independently and collaboratively with the wider Estates team
- Interacting positively and professionally with guests when required
About you
- A Lantra Awards Level 2 Award in Brushcutters and Strimmers, or equivalent strimmer qualification, is desirable but not essential
- ATV certification is desirable but not essential
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and general green maintenance
- A good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all seasons
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact positively with guests
- A practical, safety-conscious approach to work
Hours and salary
This is a casual role, working approximately 16–24 hours per week. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
