Full job description

We are looking to take on a part qualified / qualified with at least 18 months practice experience. The position is full time and will be office based. If required, the package will include study support towards completing studies.

The main duties will include:

· Drafting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

· Preparing self assessment and corporate tax returns.

· Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping to prepare management accounts and VAT returns using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks & Excel.

· Assisting and reviewing work produced by junior members of staff.

· Dealing directly with clients.

Requirements

· At least 18 months practice experience.

· Strong background in preparing financial statements and tax returns for partner review.

· Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.

· Proven track record of working within a close team.

· Ability to apply technical knowledge direct.

We offer full on the job training and support as required and external tuition courses.

The position is available to start immediately.
