Savvy Ferments is a Brighton-based food brand making raw, unpasteurised sauerkraut with big, globally inspired flavours. We are looking for a confident, energetic Brand Ambassador & Market Sales Assistant to represent us at food markets, festivals, and events across Brighton, Sussex and the South East.
This is a people-first, active role. You will be the face of Savvy at weekend markets — bringing our stall to life, offering samples, chatting to food lovers, and getting people excited about fermentation and gut health!
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving to events and food markets across Sussex and the South East.
- Loading/unloading stock and setting up/packing down our market stall and gazebo.
- Running active sampling, engaging passers-by, and explaining our flavours.
- Managing retail transactions, card payments, and stock control on market day.
- Delivering outstanding customer experiences and generating vibrant stall energy.
Who We Are Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing, and energetic with excellent face-to-face communication skills.
- Comfortable actively approaching market shoppers and starting conversations.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting equipment, setting up gazebos/tables, standing for long shifts).
- Passionate about food, flavour, cooking, or gut health.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently at events.
- Flexibility to work around 3 weekend days (Saturdays or Sundays) per month.
Backgrounds in events, hospitality, sales, markets, performative arts, or food retail are welcome — but high energy, personality, and reliability matter most!
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
