Surveyor / Senior Surveyor – Building Consultancy
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Service Line: Project & Development Services – Building Consultancy
We are looking for a driven Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join our growing Bristol Building Consultancy team at Cushman & Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a strong regional client base spanning the South West and Wales, supporting a mix of investors, landlords, occupiers and developers.
You’ll be involved in both professional and project-focused instructions, with real scope to take ownership of workstreams, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our Bristol offering.
Deliver a full range of Building Surveying services, including:
Dilapidations (landlord & tenant)
Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent duties
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA)
Schedules of Condition
Building pathology and defect diagnosis
Additional responsibilities include:
Acting as a key point of contact for regional clients
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
Working collaboratively across the wider Project & Development Services group
Assisting with business development, client retention and bid activity
Contributing to projects across the South West, Wales and wider UK when required
MRICS-qualified with relevant Building Surveying experience (1–5 years PQE ideal)
Strong track record in delivering core professional instructions
Experience in project delivery (CAT A/B refurbishments, maintenance works, minor works)
Confident communicator with strong report writing skills
Commercially aware, organised and proactive
Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture
Experience with regional investor, developer or occupier clients is an advantage
