- Maintenance strategy: Lead and develop the maintenance strategy to ensure reliability, compliance, guest experience, brand standards and commercial performance across the TRGC estate.
- Planned maintenance: Own and improve the PPM programme across building fabric, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire/life safety and other critical assets.
- Reactive maintenance: Oversee the HelpDesk and Regional Maintenance Managers to ensure issues are prioritised and resolved quickly, particularly those affecting trading, safety, food safety or airport compliance.
- Contractor management: Manage maintenance contractors and specialist suppliers, ensuring strong performance, value for money, safe working practices and quality delivery.
- Compliance & risk: Ensure maintenance meets all relevant health and safety, fire, food, electrical, gas, water hygiene, asbestos, airport security and environmental requirements.
- Airport stakeholders: Work closely with airport operations, engineering, security, landlords and brand partners to coordinate access, permits, approvals and works.
- Team leadership: Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, setting clear priorities, standards and performance expectations.
- Budget management: Manage maintenance budgets, control costs and identify savings without compromising safety, compliance or standards.
- Asset management: Maintain accurate asset records, condition surveys, service histories, warranties and replacement plans to support future investment.
- Projects: Support new openings, refurbishments, closures, equipment replacement and capital projects, ensuring safe handover and operational readiness.
- Emergency response: Lead the response to critical incidents including leaks, power failures, equipment breakdowns, fire alarms and drainage issues.
- Continuous improvement: Use data, audits and feedback to improve reliability, reduce repeat failures, enhance supplier performance and improve the guest and team member environment.
- Proven senior maintenance, facilities or engineering leadership experience in a high-volume, multi-site environment.
- Experience using Pronett/Access Maintain preferred.
- Hospitality, restaurants, retail, airports, transport, hotels or leisure experience desirable.
- Strong knowledge of planned/reactive maintenance, contractor management, asset management and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of commercial kitchens, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drainage, fire safety and building maintenance.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, KPIs and supplier performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Confident decision-maker with excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH desirable.
- Relevant technical, engineering or facilities qualification desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security clearance and access approvals.
