Overview:
They need adults who know how to listen.
At Change Grow Live, we believe the best services aren't designed for young people—they're designed with them.
That's why we're looking for a Regional Youth Voice & Influence Lead to champion the experiences, ideas and ambitions of children and young people across the Midlands, ensuring their voices don't just inform services—they shape them.
If you're passionate about participation, believe in genuine co-production and know how to turn conversations into meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.
It's an opportunity to influence how services are designed, delivered and improved across an entire region.
You'll spend your time building trusted relationships with young people, creating safe spaces where they feel heard and empowered, and making sure their experiences influence real decisions—not just reports that sit on a shelf.
Working independently alongside local services, you'll challenge thinking, identify opportunities for improvement and help create services that young people genuinely want to access.
Because when young people help shape services, everyone benefits.
You believe young people should be partners, not passengers.
Whether your background is youth work, participation, safeguarding, education, health, substance use or another related field, you'll know how to create meaningful relationships and build trust quickly.
You'll bring:
-
Experience working directly with children and young people.
-
The ability to facilitate engaging, inclusive and creative participation activities.
-
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
-
Confidence presenting insight and influencing people at every level.
-
A passion for reducing inequalities and improving outcomes for young people.
-
Energy, creativity and a genuine belief that young people should have a say in decisions that affect them.
Most importantly, you'll never lose sight of the fact that every conversation has the potential to improve someone's future.
