Full job description

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our dynamic team as an Alloy Technician at our state-of-the-art Livingston Refurbishment Centre.

This is a fantastic chance for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in restoring and enhancing vehicle appearance, working with industry-leading tools and alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Hours: 7.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 45 hours per week.

Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).

Key Responsibilities:

Strip and re-fit alloy wheels from vehicle.
Remove tyre from alloy and refit new ones.
Repair punctures and ensure correct air pressure and levels are in tyres.
Report unseen damage missed on estimates.
Ensure the preparation of all wheels leaving the Bodyshop is completed to a high standard.
Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.

Ideally, we are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role necessary.
Experience in preparation of alloy/diamond cut wheels.
Experience in locking wheel nut removal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills.
