Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience,plus performance bonus and fantastic benefits

40 hours per week across 5 days,Monday to Friday. Based onsite – BA7

Our Finance Assistant

As our Finance Assistant,you will help keep the day-to-day financial operations of our diverse business running smoothly. From processing transactions and completing reconciliations to supporting month-end activities,you will play an important role in maintaining accurate records and strong financial controls. Working closely with colleagues across the Estate,you will provide a responsive,reliable service while identifying smarter ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier and customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain supplier and customer master data.
Complete account,stock and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end processes.
Assist with credit control and prepare financial reports.
Manage the Finance inbox and respond to stakeholder queries.
Maintain accurate financial records and follow established controls.
Identify process improvements and support the wider Finance team.

What we're looking for

Previous experience within a finance or accounting environment.
Strong Excel and general IT skills.
Experience with reconciliations,journals and transaction processing.
A proactive,organised and detail-focused approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder service skills.
The ability to adapt,collaborate and think logically.
Sage X3,ERP or automated accounts payable software experience is desirable.
An AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
