Responsibilities
- Assist customers with routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries
- Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with security procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Promote bank products and services to meet customer needs and enhance their financial well-being
- Answer customer questions clearly and professionally, providing helpful guidance on banking processes
- Follow all security protocols to safeguard cash, confidential information, and bank assets
- Support team members during busy periods by managing queues and ensuring efficient service flow
Experience
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Previous experience in financial services or customer service is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn about banking products, services, and security procedures
Pay: £29,000.00 per year
