Media & Website Coordinator
Location: Burnham-on-Crouch – In person
Full-time, Permanent - Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm
Job Purpose
The Media & Website Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and developing the company's online presence through the company website and digital media channels. This role combines website management, content creation, photography and digital marketing to ensure the company's products, services and brand are presented professionally across all online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring all content is accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Add and amend product listings, news articles, downloads and company information.
- Ensure website images, documents and links are current and functioning correctly.
- Plan and carry out product photography, producing high-quality images for use on the website, brochures, social media and other marketing materials.
- Edit and optimise photographs using image editing software to ensure a professional finish.
- Organise and maintain a digital library of photographs and marketing assets.
- Create engaging digital content including website articles, news updates, blogs and promotional material.
- Assist with the production of short promotional videos and other multimedia content where required.
- Support Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) by optimising website content, page titles and meta descriptions.
- Coordinate website updates with internal departments to ensure product and company information remains accurate.
- Manage and schedule content for the company's social media platforms.
- Ensure all digital content reflects the company's branding and corporate identity.
- Work with external website developers, designers and marketing suppliers when required.
- Monitor website performance and prepare reports using website analytics tools.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, product launches and company events through the creation of digital and printed promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, copyright legislation and company policies.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience maintaining and updating websites using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Strong photography skills with the ability to capture professional-quality product and corporate images.
- Experience using photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or equivalent.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and presentation.
Desirable
- Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar design software.
- Experience creating and editing video content.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
