We are looking for talented individuals to join our Quality team as a Quality Assurance Engineer at our Burnley site.

Safran Nacelles is a worldwide leader in aircraft engine nacelles. Our products and services equip all aircraft types; regional, business, short, medium and long-range commercial aircraft. Our expertise covers nacelle design, manufacturing, integration, maintenance and services. Your Role:

The Quality Assurance Engineer supports the Sheet Metal Operations team in delivering products on time, to specification, and in full compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

The role focuses on preventing customer escapes, reducing concessions, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening the organisation's Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Compliance
Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
Auditing & Corrective Action
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Operational Support

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

Degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
APQP Experience or strong oversight of a customer who uses APQP
Proven Quality Assurance experience within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Strong background in complex problem solving and delivery of improvement projects.
Practical experience with PFMEA, SPC, 8D, Six Sigma, and other core quality tools.
Experience in Quality Planning for new product introduction.
