Pay Rate: £26,851.07 Basic Annual Salary. Overtime Rate x1.5
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (flexibility is required to cover other times from time to time)

We're now looking for a Transport Shift Controller to support with Driver dispatch and general administration duties.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Coordinating and dispatching drivers, ensuring all routes are efficiently covered
Handling incoming calls, primarily from drivers needing support or updates
Communicating with internal teams and external customers to resolve queries
Completing general operational and administrative tasks to support the shift
Providing debrief support for drivers when required, including reviewing completed routes and issues

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Previous experience in a transport or transport related field
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently juggle multiple tasks at once
Has strong communication skills and is comfortable speaking with drivers and customers
Can work independently while also collaborating well with a wider team
Is flexible with working hours and willing to support operational needs when required
