Buxton Lime is the UK’s leader in the supply of lime solutions. Our products are used for everything from water treatment, flue-gas desulphurisation and soil stabilisation, through to the manufacture of iron, steel, plastics, paper, glass and aerated blocks.

We work with sister companies operating in Germany and the Czech Republic, Ireland, and Scandinavia to serve markets in Europe and the rest of the world.

Sales & Customer Services Advisor (Tunstead)

We are currently looking for a Part Time Sales & Customer Services Advisor to join our commercial team at Tunstead. This vacancy is a permanent role of 27 hours a week, Monday, Thursday and Friday 08.30am to 16.30pm and Wednesday 12pm to 16.30pm

This role is easily commutable from Buxton, Sheffield, Stockport, Chesterfield, Macclesfield, Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

The Sales & Customer Services Advisor is responsible for managing our customers from enquiry to invoice. This includes receiving and processing orders, query management, haulier management, credit and debit note generation, ordering of purchased materials and timely investigation and resolution of customer invoice queries and complaints. The role is also responsible for delivering and exceeding targeted sales volumes, wallet shares and prices for designated UK and export accounts, assisting the external account managers and performing set administration tasks as required. The roles also requires cross functional working relationships to ensure the best possible customer experience.

The role of Tunstead Sales & Customer Services Advisor is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following qualifications:

Qualifications – Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs, minimum grade 4 including maths, english and a science.
Experience – Proven experience in a customer accounts/service environment, working experience in a customer focused team in a fast-moving environment and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
Skills & Knowledge – Good written and verbal communication, ability to build positive customer relationships, high level of IT literacy, excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines, ability to be fast and flexible whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service and professionalism, influencing and negotiating skills, excellent understanding of customer needs and building solutions, high level of drive and determination, desirable knowledge of products, packing options and proven routes to market, high level of accuracy and attention to detail and desirable to have an understanding of export incorporating terms and payment methods including L.O.Cs
