We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Business Support Officer & Builder to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinetry, and structural repairs with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct roofing repairs, installations, and inspections to maintain structural integrity
- Carry out construction painting to enhance surfaces and protect materials from environmental damage
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in line with project requirements
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication tasks, ensuring strong and durable joints
- Support electrical installations by handling wiring, conduit setup, and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities
- Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific project demands
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding or related construction trades
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Electrical experience or certification is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges on-site
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in diverse weather conditions
- Good communication skills for teamwork and coordination with other tradespeople
- Certification or training in construction safety practices is preferred
