Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Salary Up to £14-£16 per hour – depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time – 20 hours per week

Working for Jackson Fire & Security you will be a highly organised and proactive individual. You will be based at our Office in Cambridge and the standard working hours will be 09:30 – 13:00 Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business.
Job Description:
As the Office Administrator you will be responsibly to support the Service Manager running our team of lone working field-based Fire & Security Engineers and taking care of the daily running of the Operations office, ensuring that all customers are serviced, on time and to the highest standards. Your duties will include:
1. Developing strong relationships with customers, focusing on customer service, retention and growth
2. Supporting the Business Development Manager in sending Quotations, booking in site visits and following up with customers
3. Invoicing and closing down of jobs ensuring customers have the required Service Reports
4. Supporting Projects team, ordering stock, collating packs and booking in work
5. Resolving all customer queries promptly, ensuring delivery of the highest standards of service
6. Monitoring and ordering materials and equipment, ensuring stock levels are correct
Person Specification:
- Proven Experience in administration in a busy, close working office environment - ideally gained within the fire protection or security industry but full training and support will be given
- Highly driven and motivated and the ability to multi-task daily and prioritise workload
- Attention to detail is a key part element of this role
- People management and motivation of the lone working engineers
- Strong commercial acumen
- Clear, effective and influential communication skills at all levels
- Must be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft and experience of using CRM systems
- Must have a Full UK driving licence or be able to get to the office location without one
