Gonville Hotel is a four-star hotel situated in the heart of Cambridge, overlooking the historic Parker's Piece.Being located centrally makes Gonville Hotel the perfect base for a stay in the city, attracting both holidaymakers and businesspeople.

We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and service-driven Wellness (Spa) Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our spa and wellness facilities. In this role you will ensure high service standards, and provide exceptional health and beauty treatments to hotel guests and members.

We are committed to delivering a luxurious and rejuvenating wellness experience. As a Wellness Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily spa operations and ensuring an exceptional level of service for all guests.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Supervising the Wellness Therapist to ensure smooth daily operations and high service standards.

Providing a range of spa treatments, including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, and body therapies.

Training and mentoring spa therapists to enhance their skills and maintain consistency in treatment delivery.

Ensuring all treatment rooms, spa areas, and relaxation spaces are clean, well-presented, and fully stocked.

Assisting with spa scheduling, ensuring appointments are efficiently managed to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Promoting and upselling spa treatments, wellness packages, and retail products to drive sales.

Handling guest inquiries, special requests, and any service concerns with professionalism and care.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the spa and wellness areas.

Collaborating with the leisure and hotel management teams to enhance the overall guest experience.

The core skills and experience required to succeed:

Recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Beauty Therapy, or equivalent).

Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Strong knowledge of a variety of beauty and wellness treatments, with a passion for holistic well-being.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills, ensuring a welcoming and professional spa atmosphere.

High standards of hygiene, organization, and attention to detail in all aspects of spa operations.

Flexible approach to work, with availability for shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
