Camelford Primary firmly believes that ‘every person matters’. We strive to create a learning environment where our pupils fulfil their potential. We inspire lifelong learners who are confident discovers, explorers and creators, live our values and embody our 3 simple school promises of being safe, ready, and respectful.
Integrity
We hold the teaching of integrity in our hearts. We value uniqueness, strength of character, honesty and courage which is guided by a strong moral code of conduct. We value the spiritual and moral development of each person as well as their intellectual and physical growth.
Resilience
We value never giving up. We aim for our learners to believe that learning is a journey and that resilience is the pathway to success regardless of their starting points.
Aspiration
We value and expect everyone to have high expectations for all our learners at Camelford Primary. We aim to instill the importance of aiming high both academically and in their personal development. We aim to ensure that learners leave Camelford Primary being their very best all-round selves.
Community
We value the acceptance and equitable treatment of all people in our community. Social justice and compassion are highly regarded and actively pursued. We encourage the development of a wide range of curricular and extracurricular opportunities to help facilitate individual talents and interests.
We value and build pride in our community, both within and outside the school. We encourage all pupils to be strong citizens who positively contribute to society.
