Full job description

Job Summary

Join our team as a Delivery Driver/Welfare driver and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, to various locations with precision and professionalism. Another of your roles will be assisting with covering our Welfare services pumping and servicing Site and Event toilets. This position offers an exciting opportunity while enjoying a fast-paced, rewarding environment where every delivery makes a difference.

Duties

Safely operate flatbed vans and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in excellent condition.
Verify delivery addresses, loads, and documentation before departure.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Communicate effectively with your line Manager and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
Assist with loading and unloading ensuring proper handling of goods.
Cover the Welfare tanker, pumping and servicing our Site and Event toilets.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or Welfare operative, preferably with commercial driving experience and the ability to Tow.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with C1E.
Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading tools and equipment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight schedules.
Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Prior experience in delivery driver roles is highly desirable however not essential as training will be given .
