Job Description

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their experience within a busy production/manufacturing environment.

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment, ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required quality standards, and working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Produce and prepare custom signage using a variety of materials such as vinyl, wood, acrylic, and metal.
Operate and maintain sign-making equipment, including plotters, printers, and cutting machines.
Follow production procedures, work instructions and health & safety guidelines.
Monitor the production process and ensure products meet quality standards.
Carry out routine checks on machinery and finished products.
Identify and report any production, quality or equipment issues.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in sign making, graphic design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of materials, production methods, and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Knowledge of installation processes and handling of large-format signage.
