Overview

Due to the course required for the qualification all applicants have to be aged 16-18.

We are seeking a passionate Barber apprentice to join the shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber apprentice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients through learning to become an expert in hair styling and grooming services.

Duties

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on styles and grooming.
Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques to provide clients with contemporary options.
Assist in managing appointments and ensuring timely service delivery.

Experience

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
A passion for hair styling and grooming, coupled with an eye for detail.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in barbering are advantageous but not mandatory.
