Full job description

An enthusiastic, hardworking, results driven individual is required to join our team as a lettings property manager. We are an established estate agent in and around Cardiff seeking to consolidate and expand our existing rental portfolio and sales operation.

The role offers a great deal of variety and will involve dealing with queries from tenants and landlords, handling instructions for repairs and maintenance and completing the relevant administration processes for rentals and inspections of property.

The ideal candidate will be confident with a passion for people and a ‘can do’ attitude. Working collaboratively within a team across, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain calm during busy periods. You will be well organised with a solution focused approach to all tasks. You will also have excellent writing skills and have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, excel and Word.

Key Activities

Deal with all incoming calls as appropriate.
Applicant care in line with company procedures.
Efficiently deal with Landlord and Tenant enquiries.
Registering queries on the phone, email and walk-ins.
Meet and greet all people entering the office as appropriate.
Organising and carrying out inspections.
Dealing with maintenance issues.
Instructing contractors to maintenance jobs.
Serving relevant notices and issuing new contracts.
Inventories & Leaving inspections.

Person Specification

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A professional, positive, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
A strong customer focus
Desire to meet and exceed targets
Intermediate MS Word, Excel, & Outlook skills
Full UK driving licence is essential
Must be ambitious and highly motivated
Superb negotiating skills
Being responsible for queries
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Local knowledge of the required area
