We are looking for a Web Developer who can take ownership of client website projects from development through testing and deployment. You will work closely with designers, project coordinators and digital marketing specialists to turn business requirements into functional and engaging digital experiences.
This is a mid level role suited to someone who enjoys practical development work, solving technical problems and contributing ideas that improve both website performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Development:
Build and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and appropriate frontend frameworks.
Content Management Systems:
Develop and update websites using platforms such as WordPress, Shopify or similar content management and ecommerce systems.
Frontend Implementation:
Translate approved designs and wireframes into accurate, accessible and mobile friendly web pages.
Website Performance:
Improve website loading speed, browser compatibility, accessibility and overall technical performance.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Test websites across different devices, browsers and screen sizes before deployment.
Technical Support:
Investigate website issues, resolve bugs and provide ongoing maintenance for existing client websites.
Project Collaboration:
Work with designers, digital marketers and project coordinators to understand requirements, deadlines and delivery priorities.
Integrations:
Support the implementation of contact forms, payment systems, analytics tools, third party applications and application programming interfaces.
Documentation:
Maintain clear technical documentation covering website updates, configurations and deployment processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of professional experience in website development, frontend development or a similar digital role.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework or library such as React, Vue or a comparable technology.
Platform Knowledge:
Practical experience with WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce or another established content management or ecommerce platform.
Responsive Development:
Good understanding of mobile first development, browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
Problem Solving:
Ability to investigate technical issues, identify practical solutions and communicate clearly with non technical colleagues.
Quality Focus:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce organised, reliable and maintainable code.
Communication Skills:
Professional written and spoken English suitable for team discussions, client communication and technical documentation.
Mindset:
You are organised, dependable and comfortable managing several development tasks at the same time. You understand the importance of meeting deadlines without compromising website quality.
Pay: £2,243.00-£2,833.00 per month
