Job Overview
We are currently looking for a reliable and responsible School Caretaker to join our team.to work within one of our contracted sites based in in Carlisle.
Pay: £15.00 per hour (salary)
Hours: 15 hours per week (3 hours per day)
Days: Monday to Friday (including some none term will be required)
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
DBS: A valid DBS check is required.
You will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and general upkeep of the school building and grounds. This may include cleaning, minor repairs, setting up classrooms, checking facilities, managing waste, and ensuring the school environment is safe and well maintained. . You will be following a specification of work and will have daily tasks to complete. Full training will be given, and a uniform will be provided.
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, cleaning, or maintenance experience preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to make their own way to the school location - Driving Licence (preferred)
- Must have or be willing to obtain the required DBS check
