We are now looking for Spray Painter and Powder Coater Operatives to join our production team at our Carlisle facility.
The role
This is a hands on finishing role where you will prepare, coat and finish doors and components that are used in some of the most demanding environments in the world. The quality of your work directly affects how our products perform, look and last.
You will be part of the paint and finishing operation that ensures every door leaving the factory meets our durability and appearance standards.
What you will do:
You will powder coat and spray paint doors and components to defined specifications. You will operate paint shop equipment including spray guns, compressors and powder coating plant and prepare surfaces using hand and power tools such as sanders and grinders.
You will handle paints and chemicals safely in line with procedures, mark and label components accurately and inspect finished work to ensure quality and finish standards are met. You will work independently or as part of a team to meet production requirements and may support other departments when workload demands.
What we are looking for
You will have experience in powder coating or industrial painting in a manufacturing environment, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience with paint spraying and using hand tools and machinery is an advantage.
You will be practical, detail focused and take pride in producing high quality finished work. You will be reliable, safety conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A flexible approach to working hours and overtime is important.
