Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team as a Qualified Dental Nurse or as a Trainee Dental Nurse! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care while supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. Duties

Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after dental procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
Assist dentists and dental therapists with clinical procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
Maintain strict infection control protocols to uphold hygiene standards within the practice
Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatments, answer questions, and provide oral health advice
Organize appointment schedules efficiently to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times
Support administrative tasks such as sterilization of equipment and stock management to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
Proficiency in English for clear communication with patients and team members
Basic knowledge of nursing principles or dental procedures (for trainees) or relevant clinical experience (for qualified professionals)
Good IT skills for managing electronic health records and practice management software
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within the team
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain a tidy workspace
Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and stay updated on best practices in dental care
