Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the laundry operations, maintaining pristine linens, resident clothing, towels etc. that contribute to a welcoming and hygienic environment. Your proactive attitude and dedication will help uphold the reputation of our establishment as a clean, comfortable haven for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels and resident laundry items with precision and care
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently to maximize productivity
Monitor laundry inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management promptly
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the laundry area at all times
Ensure all laundry is processed in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist with delivering clean linens to designated areas within the home.
Follow established procedures for stain removal and fabric care to preserve item quality

Requirements

Prior experience in a nursing home or hospitality laundry services is highly preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently
Good organizational skills to manage multiple loads of laundry efficiently
Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and management
Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and hygiene standards
