Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of system testing methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Conduct system testing on Windows platforms, ensuring all functionalities meet specified requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams using tools such as Azure, GitLab, and TFS to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Perform UI testing to validate user interfaces against design specifications.
- Utilise data analysis skills to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in software performance.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB and PL/SQL to verify data integrity and consistency throughout the application lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality improvements.
- Document defects clearly and concisely, ensuring effective communication with development teams for timely resolution.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in quality assurance methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in system testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in using Azure, GitLab, TFS, and other relevant tools for version control and project management.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and their testing environments.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and PL/SQL for backend data validation is highly desirable.
- Understanding of MVC architecture principles is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of database testing and API testing is a plus
- Understanding of MVC architecture principles is an advantage.
