We are a family run business established in 1967. Very much a garage business with Car Sales as well as MOT & Service. Operating in South Oxhey since 1990 having moved into a brand new building in 2017.

Our Technicians are highly skilled and form an important part of our team here at RSC. We have excellent staff facilities and a clean, warm and bright modern workshop.

We deliver a fair and reasonably priced service to all our customers with high levels of customer care and satisfaction. Many of our customers have been with us 20 + years and we value loyalty in all areas of our work.

We look to continue to invest in equipment and training to keep moving forward within an ever evolving independent after sales market.

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester

RSC, South Oxhey

On Target Earnings - circa £30,000 - £48,000 dependant on experience and skills.

We deliver a high level of performance and customer satisfaction with all members of the team contributing to our continued success.Relevant experience and qualifications required

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience.

· NVQ level 3 or Equivalent – Light Motor Vehicle maintenance and repair

· Current MOT testing licence preferred but not essential (training & qualification can be provided)

· Full driving licence

· Access to own tools – specialist tools provided

Applicant must have own tools. Larger equipment and specialist tools provided by RSC.

Development and training

Team members are given the relevant training to enable them to carry out and achieve our high standards. Training with LKQ Academy provided.

Responsibilities

Complete scheduled vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer requirements
Diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for vehicle issues
To carry our pre delivery inspections on used cars
To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, adhering to company and manufacturer’s standards
Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for our customers
Liaise with service advisors and customers to deliver outstanding service
To ensure our company ethos of professionalism and service is maintained in all environments
To work in a safe and considerate manor and adhere to all health and safety requirements

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00 (Includes a 60 minute lunch break)

Alternate Saturdays 9.00 - 1.00
