Full job description

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our creative advertising agency and become a key part of the team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social. You’ll be creating content, managing client accounts, spotting the next TikTok trend before it’s everywhere, and turning ideas into content that actually gets people watching, engaging and sharing.

You’ll work across clients and industries, so no two days will look the same. One day you could be shooting content at a client site, the next planning a month of social content, editing TikToks in CapCut or jumping on a trend that’s just started taking off.

What you’ll be doing

Creating engaging, platform-first content, with a particular focus on TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video
Filming and editing social content using CapCut
Keeping on top of TikTok, Instagram and wider social trends and understanding how to adapt them for different brands
Developing creative ideas and content concepts for clients
Managing multiple client social media accounts from planning through to execution
Building content calendars and scheduling posts
Writing captions and social copy that fit each brand’s tone of voice
Liaising directly with clients and understanding their objectives
Planning and coordinating content shoots
Travelling to client sites across the West Midlands and beyond when required
Monitoring content performance and using insights to inform future content
Working closely with the wider creative and account management team

What we’re looking for

You’ll be someone who is creative, commercially minded and genuinely plugged into social media.

You should have:

Strong experience creating social-first content, particularly TikTok and Reels
Excellent CapCut editing skills and a good understanding of short-form video
A strong understanding of current social media trends, formats and platform behaviour
The ability to turn a trend into content that feels relevant to a brand rather than simply jumping on a bandwagon
Experience managing social media accounts and content calendars
Strong organisational and project management skills
Confidence communicating and building relationships with clients
A good eye for filming, framing, pacing and what makes content watchable
Strong copywriting skills and an understanding of different brand tones of voice
The ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts and hit deadlines
A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to client sites

You won’t just be given a list of posts to make. We want someone who can spot an opportunity, pitch an idea, get the camera out, edit the content and get it live.

You’ll be working with a varied portfolio of brands, giving you the opportunity to create everything from reactive TikTok content and trend-led Reels to more considered campaigns and brand storytelling.

Based in the West Midlands, you’ll primarily work remotely, with regular travel to client sites and shoots as required.

Pay: £14,040.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham
