Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hospitality Desk Clerk, where your friendly demeanor and exceptional organizational skills will create a welcoming environment for all guests and visitors. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing outstanding guest services, managing inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Answer phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette to assist with inquiries or direct calls appropriately
Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure a memorable stay or visit
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to uphold a professional appearance
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and special requests
Keep accurate records of guest information, reservations, and communication logs

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests
Strong phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of hospitality operations and guest management systems is a plus
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
A genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences and fostering a welcoming environment

Pay: £23,500.00 per year
