Equans is looking for an M&E Operative to join our team at Broomfield Hospital. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Undertake planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance of M&E systems and building fabric per PPM schedule and management direction
Apply relevant trade skills including plumbing and building fabric repairs to ensure first-time fixes and enhance customer experience
Act as Water Hygiene Competent Person, performing legionella system maintenance on taps, showers, and TMVs
Assist with ordering materials and escort contractors as needed
Maintain accurate records and update CAFM systems using PDA logs
Support customer care philosophy by liaising effectively with clients and other team members
Comply with Health & Safety policies and contribute to Quality and Equalities objectives

Who are you?

Experienced in M&E maintenance and building fabric repairs, ideally within healthcare or hard FM environments
Relevant trade qualifications and commitment to ongoing training, including legionella awareness
Competent in using CAFM systems and PDA data logging
Good communication skills, customer-focused, and able to work independently or in a team
Committed to health, safety, and quality standards at all times
Flexible, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct
