We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Secretary / Administrator to join our busy but very friendly team based in Moulsham Mill Chelmsford for 3 days per week and holiday cover

ABOUT US

We are a small company who provides a full management service to a group of Consultant Surgeons and Physicians based in Chelmsford.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a very varied role as the Consultants we provide a service for cover a wide range of specialist areas. You will need to have a confident telephone manner and have an empathetic attitude. Ideally you will need to be a good team player but need to work on your own initiative at times and be confident to make decisions.

Essential Skills

Appointment Management – keeping diaries for Consultant appointments and surgery.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for interacting with patients and hospital staff.

Excellent computer skills using Microsoft and Practice Management Software.

The ability to type medical reports and letters with a good understanding of medical terminology.

Ability to multitask, prioritize and maintain accuracy under pressure with attention to detail.

To maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of private medical practice and practice management software

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
