We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our busy bars at Carden Park Hotel, one of Cheshire's leading luxury resort destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bar Supervisor or Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coaching a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You'll work closely with the Bar Manager to ensure every shift delivers exceptional service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the bars
- Taking responsibility for the department in the Bar Manager's absence
- Inspiring, motivating and developing your team
- Coaching colleagues through hands-on training
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences every day
- Driving sales through recommendations, promotions and upselling
- Ensuring licensing, food safety and health safety standards are met
- Maintaining high presentation and service standards throughout the operation
- Has experience as an Assistant Bar Manager, Senior Bartender or Bar Supervisor
- Loves delivering exceptional guest service
- Has excellent cocktail, wine and beverage knowledge
- Enjoys leading and developing people
- Remains calm under pressure and leads by example
- Is organised, proactive and positive
- Wants to build a long-term career in hospitality
Hotel experience is advantageous but isn't essential—we're happy to support someone with strong high-volume bar experience who is ready for the next step.
Due to our rural location, you'll need your own transport, although live-in accommodation is available for eligible candidates.
